STEM Learning Toolkits
At Blueinno, we empower kids to innovate through STEM Project-based learning with real prototypes, so that kids can learn with fun. So, we have designed a series of project-based learning toolkits for them to learn STEM and address various human challenges and community needs, through which they can learn and grow.
The series includes 3 toolkits for different themes: 1) domestic gardening system, 2) automatic trash bin, and 3) STEM robotic car. Each of them helps kids to understand and try to address different sustainable development goals (SDGs) advocated by the United Nations, from climate change, to sustainable cities and communities.

STEM Robotic Car
One type of our STEM robotic car has the self-driving ability, which has been a key technology in the future. Robots will also dominate smart cities and our daily life. In this toolkit, kids are learning both in one go. With the ultrasonic sensor, they will experience how a car can dodge obstacles on its way. Putting all the parts together as a robotic car can also learn a great deal about the fundamental robotic mechanism.
In another STEM robotic car which is designed for smaller kids, who will learn about using robots to carry out different functions, such as basic electronics and mechanical principles. Our parents also find very fulfilling that they work together with their kids in inventing their own robotic cars, improving their kids' STEM knowledge amid a happy time over the weekend!
By playing with other kids, they can also put their robotic cars together to simulate the city traffic, and think about how to build a smart city and manage them to achieve zero-accident on the road. Or they can load an air sterilizer to help their mum to sterilize the home by moving their robots around!

Domestic Gardening System
Food has become a crisis nowadays with the ever-growing of the human population. Not only can urban farming provide additional food supplies, it can also green our community, relieve pollution, and increase citizens' awareness about environmental protection.
Equipped with the soil sensor, LED lights, an OLED, and a fan, kids can learn how to detect the humidity in the soil and temperature in the air for growing their plants under the optimal conditions. They can also decorate their plant with creative drawing on the ceramic pot.
They can record the ideal condition for each kind of plant through experiment, and gain a great deal of satisfaction by witnessing their own household harvest be served at the dinner table! More importantly, they come to know although growing plants brings a lot of fun, patience and time are required. Then they learn how important it is to protect nature.

Automatic Trash Bin
With the outbreak of the pandemic, hygiene and sanitation are never over-emphasized. How can we teach our kids about the concept of keeping hands clean and off the dirt through engineering projects? A trash bin that opens automatically with the sensor can do!
Not only can kids learn about how to keep themselves and their living environment clean, they can also understand a lot of engineering concepts and skills, such as the principle of the motor, electricity, and the touch sensor. Also, the trash bin can also remind them of responsible production and consumption as global citizens.
Kids can also unleash their creativity to design their products more than a bin. Some of them take the bin as a crate for a pitch-pot game with other kids with different sensor settings. No matter how kids are innovating with the toolkits, it always results in a lot of fun!
