Create apps to solve real life challenges with MIT App Inventor! Ask big questions and come up with ideas that will shape the world. Work together to brainstorm and build practical apps and mobile games that generate impacts.

Overview of App Inventor Courses

In this course, we will learn how to use MIT App Inventor to build various apps. Students will design the interface for their apps and use code building blocks to develop their own apps. Selected apps will be submitted to google play store.

Curriculum for App Inventor Program

Module 1

Introduction to MIT App Inventor

Create your first app with MIT App Inventor! Get familiar with its interface, components, functions and coding blocks. Learn basic computer programming concepts, such as logic, loops, conditional statements and variables.

Module 2

App and Game Development

Learn to design different user interfaces and master how to program using blocks. Combine this new knowledge with the foundation of app development, from user interface to backend development. Kids can then create their own advanced and unique apps.

  • Bring your own iPhone or Android phone with MIT AI2 Companion installed

Collaboration with MIT Hong Kong Innovation Node

Blueinno also collaborated with the global leading innovation coding education institute, MIT Hong Kong Innovation Node, to train Hong Kong teachers to teach App Inventor at their schools, from curriculum design to course delivery, so that kids can learn with fun to master foundational coding skills.
